Mc Kenzie, TNCARROLL COUNTY — The annual $10 wheel tax to fund the local share for the construction of Lake Halford, previously known as the Carroll County 1000-Acre Lake, ends December 31. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency purchased the lake for approximately $11 million on July 1, 2022 from the quasi-governmental agency known as the Carroll County Watershed Authority.
