McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral Services for Lois Grace Reynaud Pugh are Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. at McKenzie First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, at 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, McKenzie, Tenn.

Mrs. Pugh, 95, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at Weakley Co. Nursing Home. 

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, led the Logos program, been involved in subgroups and served on various committees, she also was a pink lady at Methodist Hospital McKenzie. Lois was an avid gardener, artist and poet. She was born in Effie, Louisiana to Nestor and Alzie Tyler Reynaud on August 13, 1927.

She is survived by her children, David Pugh of McKenzie, Sandra Hunt of Southaven, Mississippi, and Grace (Joel) Hubbard of Vermont, eleven grandchildren, Christopher Pugh, Jennifer Pugh, Brandon Beatty, Aleyna Wildman, Lawrence Hunt, Jenna Pieratt, Catherine Zappavigna, Rachel Lapinski, Mattie Anderson and Zechariah Hubbard, and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend John Pugh, her parents, her daughter, Susan Pugh Beatty, son, Ken Pugh and siblings Ervin Reynaud, Ura (Reynaud) Woodson, Huseley Reynaud, Coiedia Reynaud, John Reynaud, Jena (Reynaud) Barnett, Junior Reynaud, and Winston Reynaud.
