McKenzie Farmers Market in Full Bloom

Posted

Summer has finally gotten here and so has the produce.
McKenzie Farmers Market, located across from City Hall, is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Produce available at the Market includes sweet corn, kale, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cabbage, carrots, squash, zucchini and new potatoes. In addition there is an assortment of baked goods, farm fresh eggs, locally grown beef, fresh cut flowers, jams and jellies.
All items sold at the Market are produced locally. Food demonstrations are held throughout the morning to show consumers different and exciting ways to enjoy fresh produce.
Come join the fun every Saturday. For more information contact the U.T. Extension Office at 731-986-1976.
