McKenzie Shooting Sports Team Wins Medals at SASP Competition

HUNTINGDON (April 26-28) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (TWRF) hosted the 2019 SASP Tennessee State Match at the Carroll County Shooting Sports Complex last month.
Youth participate using .22 rifles, .22 handguns and/or centerfire handguns, shooting at circle or rectangular steel plates.
Each SASP competition consists of four stages. The official stages of the SASP are: Focus, Go Fast, In-and-Out and Speed Trap, with all courses fire-timed events.
The McKenzie Shooting Sports Team earned the following medals at the SASP Tennessee State Match.:

Rimfire Pistol — Senior Division Third Place: Sawyer Phipps, Kailey Killen, Ashton Marr and Lydia Warren.
Pistil Caliber Carbine — Rookie Division First Place: Carli Beeler, Miles Beeler, Coleson Cook and Molly French.
Rifle Optics — Rookie Division First Place: Wyatt Bradley, Miles Beeler, Coleson Cook and Madelyn Morris; Rookie Division Second place: Clay Fowler, Carli Beeler, Landon Pershell and Molly French; Senior Division Second Place: Sawyer Phipps, Kailey Killen, Ashton Marr and Lydia Warren; Top One Men’s Division: Ashton Marr.
Rifle Iron — Rookie Division First Place: Wyatt Bradley, Miles Beeler, Coleson Cook and Madelyn Morris; Rookie Division Third Place: Clay Fowler, Carli Beeler, Landon Pershell and Molly French; Senior Division Second Place: Sawyer Phipps, Kailey Killen, Ashton Marr and Lydia Warren.
