Moore Fund Donates $2,000 to United Neighbors

Posted

The Fannye Baxter Moore Fund, administered by the McKenzie Rotary Club, donated $2,000 to the McKenzie/Carroll County United Neighbors to help individuals of the community.
The trust fund was established to provide financial support for the needs of “worthy, needy” individuals of the community.
United Neighbors serves that mission by providing clothing, food and hygiene supplies to area residents who have such needs.

McKenzie/Carroll County United Neighbors is in more dire straits as its funding through United Way was severely reduced last year and has been only partially restored this year.
The United Neighbors staff is down to two persons.
Volunteers are needed to fulfill the mission of the non-profit agency.
