Rebels Rout Lions, 12-0

CAMDEN (March 22) — The McKenzie Middle School Rebels hit the road Friday to face the Camden Junior High Lions.
The Rebels dominated on both sides of the ball for a 12-0 win in five innings.
After two scoreless innings, McKenzie heated up for six runs in the top of the third, then followed with four in the fourth and a pair in the fifth.
Rebel Jackson Cassidy was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, a run scored and two stolen bases. Ty Anderson was 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. Braden Birmingham was 1-for-4 with four RBIs, a run scored and a stolen base. Lane Anderson was 1-for-4 with a run scored.
Landon Brown was 0-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and two stolen bases.

Chaten Bivens was 0-for-1 with three walks, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Nolan Renfro was 0-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base.
Lion Will Dobson was 1-for-3 with a double. Tucker Jackson and Isaac Moore were each 1-for-2.
Tate Surber earned the win for McKenzie, allowing no runs on one hit while striking out two and walking three in four innings.
Nolan Renfro pitched the final inning, allowing no runs on two hits with no walks.
Gabe Khidekel took the loss for Camden, allowing six runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out three and walking three.
Will Dobson threw the final two innings, allowing six runs (one earned) on three hits while striking out one and walking four.
