McKENZIE — A graveside funeral service for Sandra Fay Rayburn, age 70, is Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Caledonia Cemetery, McKenzie. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 12, 2019 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Tammy Blankenship is the officiant. Burial is at Caledonia Cemetery.

Mrs. Rayburn died February 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 17, 1948, in McKenzie Carroll County, Tenn. to Robert Odell Melton and Mildred Eulyne Anderson Melton. She work twenty years at Brown Shoe Company, nine years at American Lantern and retired from Henry County Board Of Education which she work thirteen as a Teacher Assistant at Henry Elementary School. She was a member of Henry United Methodist Church in Henry, Tenn.  and enjoyed gardening and giving her canned food to family and friends.

She was married July 15, 1966, to Charles (Jerry) Gerald Rayburn for fifty two wonderful years to the man of her life that she loved dearly. She also enjoyed riding on back of her husband trike with all her friends.

She is survived by her husband,  Jerry Rayburn of McKenzie, two sons, Michael Wayne (Monica) Rayburn of Dresden, Tenn. and Jody Duane Rayburn (Lisa Richardson) of Henry,  a sister, Wanda Melton (Mike Jones) of Atlanta Ga., a brother, Gaylon Melton of McKenzie, three grandchildren, Robert Cooper ( Kalena)  Rayburn of Martin, Tenn., Kristi Marie Rayburn of Paris, Tenn., and McKinlee Renee Rayburn of Henry, TN. Nine  Step grandchildren, Peyton, Maggie, Mikayla of Dresden, Branden, BJ, Briley,  Katelyn and Keira of Henry and Amber of Toney Al.,   A niece Diana (Jeff) DiStefano of Jacksonville Fl., Nephews, Robert (Cherity) Harrison of McKenzie, Jason ( Darcy) Milam of Ca. An Aunt Ann Montgomery of McKenzie. Cousins Angie (Tony) Meene of Memphis, TN.,  Joyce Crews, Bobby and Anthony Williams of Huntingdon, Tn. and three dear friend Patsy Kemp of McKenzie, TN. and Gary and Linda Montgomery of Paris, TN.
