Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE — Mrs. Sara Allene Edwards, 74, of McKenzie, Tennessee died Friday, November 4, 2022 at St Thomas West.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday November 8, 2022 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Reverend Emily Walker officiating.
Mrs. Edwards was born August 9, 1948 to the late Eugene Garton and Helen Seaborn Garton. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died February 1, 2022; sister, Linda Waychoff; brother, Doug Garton.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Dawn Millard of Newnan, Georgia, Cyndi (Stan) Riggs of McKenzie, Tennessee and April Michelle (Christopher) Dawson of Killen, Alabama; three sons, Steve (Donna)
Edwards of Puryear, Tennessee, Barry (Bennie) Thompson of Dickson, Tennessee and Garry (Gina) Thompson of Waverly, Tennessee; three sisters, Jennifer (Joe) Garton of Camden Tennessee, Michelle (Troy) Meadows of
Gallatin, Tennessee and Gayle (Tommy) Shelton of Charlotte, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday, 10 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m.
