TNT Pizza Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Posted

City officials and downtown merchants welcomed TNT Pizza to its new location, 37 Broadway Street in downtown McKenzie.
Tom and Teresa Van Selow opened in the former T’Bird’s restaurant building.
Tom is a Navy veteran who got into the pizza business out of necessity to make a little extra money and move on to a bigger job, as he puts it, he never left. He began with Domino’s Pizza 15 years ago and is no stranger to the McKenzie community managing the McKenzie Domino’s from 2003 – 2012. Van Selow was promoted to area manager opening new stores in the area and stepped back from that to manage the Murray Domino’s store setting all kinds of sales records in Kentucky.

He got the idea for T-N-T Pizza after deciding he wanted to work for himself and opened the first T-N-T in Buchanan in March 2017. According to Tom, it does well in the summer and slow in the winter so he began looking for a second site to offset the slow months and chose McKenzie for the location.
T-N-T Pizza’s best-seller is a $5.99 pizza buffet from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. seven days a week. There are specialty pizzas or you can build your own choosing from four different sizes up to 20” But it’s not just a pizza place, the menu features appetizers, pasta dishes, wings, sandwiches, and desserts. You can dine in or take it home. If you choose to pick up dinner, give T-N-T Pizza a call at 731-207-1324.
On August 9, the McKenzie Alcohol Control Board granted a permit for T-N-T to sell beer on premises.
