Two Area Lawyers are Finalists for Chancellor Appointment

Brent Bradberry of McKenzie and Jennifer Twyman King of Huntingdon are two of the three being considered to serve as chancellor for the 24th Judicial District of Tennessee vacated by Chancellor Carma Dennis McGee. The district includes Benton, Carroll, Decatur, Henry and Hardin counties.
King is a law partner in King and King law firm in Jackson. She and husband, Dusty are owners of the firm.
Bradberry is an assistant district public defender for the 27th Judicial District. He represents indigent Tennessee residents in criminal matters. His office is based in Dresden.

Dennis is a former state representative residing in Savannah and is an assistant district attorney for the 24th Judicial District. He was formerly partner in the firm McGee and Dennis. His former law partner was Carma McGee.
The Trial Vacancy Commission met Tuesday, June 25, 2019, to consider five candidates for the 24th Judicial District Chancery Court judge vacancy, which covers Benton, Carroll, Decatur, Hardin, and Henry counties.
This vacancy was created by the appointment and confirmation of Judge Carma Dennis McGee to the Court of Appeals, Western Section.
The Commission has forwarded the names to Governor Bill Lee for his consideration.
