United Way to Hold Carroll County Fund-Raising Dinner

United Way of West Tennessee announces its first Carroll United Valentine’s Dinner on Friday evening, February 15, 2019 at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon. The dinner features entertainment by the Bethel University Renaissance Bluegrass Group, speakers from partner agencies serving Carroll and Henry counties, Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler, a silent auction, and more! Proceeds will benefit the Community Impact Fund, which is allocated by local volunteers to benefit Carroll and Henry counties agencies.
“Our goal for the Carroll United Valentine’s Dinner is to give people the opportunity not only to have a great time but also to hear from local agencies who are making a difference and how companies and individuals can partner with them to change more lives in Carroll County and Henry County,” says Krista Paul, Resource Director for Carroll and Henry counties. United Way partner agencies serving Carroll County include: American Red Cross – Mid-West Tennessee Chapter, Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Carroll County Books from Birth, McKenzie Carroll United Neighbors, Carroll County Office on Aging, Tennessee Rehab Center at Camden, and Wo/Men’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program.
Tickets are $50 per couple or $200 per table of eight and can be purchased on United Way of West Tennessee’s website: www.uwwt.org or by calling the office at (731) 422-1816.
United Way of West Tennessee is a local, volunteer-driven organization that fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community.
