NASHVILLE — Tennessee State Representative Andy Holt, representing Tennessee’s 76th House District, announced recently that Shelby Vannoy (formerly Shelby Day) will be joining his legislative staff in Nashville, Tennessee.
When asked about Mrs. Vannoy, Chairman Holt stated, “Having Shelby back in my office is one of the highlights of this upcoming session. Her knowledge of the district, her excellent work ethic, and her desire to serve rural residents and protect agriculture make her a perfect fit for my office.” Vannoy will serve as Representative Holt’s legislative assistant in his Nashville office, and assist with Rep. Holt’s most recent role as Chairman of House Finance, Ways, and Means subcommittee.
A recent graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin, Vannoy is no stranger to the legislature. She previously served as Chairman Holt’s legislative intern in 2016 and was heavily involved in Holt’s successful re-election campaigns in 2016 and 2018.
