FREEBURG, ILL - The Bethel University Men’s Basketball program signed Connor Diecker of Freeburg, Illinois Wednesday. The 6’4 hoopster is the son of Ryan and Suzette Diecker and will major in Business.

He was a two year starter of Freeburg High School averaging 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds his senior season. He was all-conference, all-area and a two time all-tournament selection during his prep career. He helped lead his team to the winningest season since 2002 and the first 20 win season since that year. Off the court Conner he was a member of the National Honors Society and Fellowship of Christians Athletes. He feels his biggest strengths are his versatility on both ends of the court and his ability to score in various ways.

Bethel Coach Jeff Britt commented, “I am excited to have Connor sign with our program. He has a very good skill set and can really shoot the ball well. He has a ton of potential and I look forward to working with him the next four years.”
