Zachary Drake “Zac” Cole

Zachary Drake “Zac” Cole, 22, of McKenzie, Tenn., died Saturday, July 29, 2023.

He was currently working for Greg Barker with Integrity Construction.  

He was a 2019 graduate of Henry County High School and went on to attend Jackson State Community College.  Zac enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, skeet shooting, 4-wheeling, and being with his friends.  Zac along with teammates Drew James and Stuart Archer won the 2012 State, Regional, and National Skeet Shooting Championship.  He loved skiing, knee boarding, and being on the water.  Zac devoted his last year to being a “Dad” to his son, Rowdy Daniel Cole. 

Zac was born July 11, 2001, in Paris, Tenn., to Ronnie Cole of Buchanan, Tenn. and Peggy Bouldin Sydnor of Paris, TN.

Along with his mother and father, he is also survived by his son, Rowdy Daniel Cole; his sister, Kristy (Tim) Phifer of Big Sandy, Tenn.; his stepfather, John Sydnor of Paris; one niece, Paisley Phifer; one nephew, Lucas Phifer; his stepbrother, Blake Sydnor of McKenzie, Tenn.; and two cousins, Austin (Brianna) McKinney and Meredith (Patrick) Lovell.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Daniel Cole.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Greg Barker officiating.

Obed Borntrager, Emmauel Yoder, Ben Bomar, Ethan Barnes, Clay Bomar, and Lucas Phifer will serve as pallbearers.  Named as honorary pallbearers are all of the Integrity Construction Crew.

Burial will be in Ramble Creek Cemetery in Big Sandy, Tenn. Ridgeway Funeral Home.
