McKENZIE — This June, the Carroll County Humane Society began renovations, the first major changes made since moving into the building on Hwy 22 nine years ago. The remodel originally targeted replacing the floors, but it has since expanded to upgrading the dog kennels and repainting and adding new shelving in the cat rooms. more

HUNTINGDON (May 29) — The Town of Huntingdon hosted the 20th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Monday at Thomas Park on East Main Street in Huntingdon. The ceremony remembered those who died in military service to our country, as well as veterans and active military personnel. There was reserved seating for veterans and a red carnation for every veteran who registered at the table prior to the ceremony. more

McKENZIE (May 29) — Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, commemorated to honor the memory of the troops who never returned home from battle. The City of McKenzie hosted a Memorial Day ceremony Monday at 10 a.m. for citizens to honor and memorialize loved ones who sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom. more
