McKENZIE (October 26) — On Thursday night, the McKenzie Rebels hosted the West Carroll War Eagles for the Region 6-1A championship. Coming into the game, both teams were 4-0 in the region. At night’s end, the Rebels took the win, 42-12. more
McKENZIE (October 20) — The Rebels continued to roll Friday night as they hosted Freedom Preparatory Academy of Memphis taking their eighth win of the season. McKenzie won 38-8 improving to 8-1 on the regular season and 4-0 in Region 6-1A. more
Six past members of McKenzie High School football homecoming royalties from 1948-64 were presented during the 2023 MHS Homecoming parade. The ladies enjoyed a gathering prior to the parade hosted by the McKenzie High School Alumni Association (MHSAA) and McKenzie City Florist and More, which included refreshments and time for reminiscing about their days at McKenzie High. more
McKENZIE (October 6) — Belle O’Brien is the 2023 MHS Football Homecoming Queen. She was crowned during pre-game ceremonies at Rebel Stadium on October 6. The candidates all entered the stadium in a convertible driven by Steven Berryman. more
McKENZIE (October 6) — McKenzie moved to 7-1 on the regular season and 4-0 in Region 6-1A play after an impressive Homecoming win Friday night. The Rebels hammered the Houston County Fighting Irish 56-7. more
McKENZIE — McKenzie High School is celebrating Homecoming 2023 this week. Friday includes a parade, a community pep rally, introduction of the Homecoming Court and the coronation of the queen, plus the Homecoming game featuring the McKenzie Rebels and the Houston County Fighting Irish. more

LINDEN (September 29) — The McKenzie Rebels wrapped up a five-week road revue picking up their sixth win on the season as they dominated the Perry County Vikings 57-7. The Rebels traveled to Linden for the week seven Region 6-1A win moving to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in the region. more

BRUCETON (September 22) — The McKenzie Rebels made the 20-mile cross-county trek to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School to pick up their fifth win of the season. The Rebels dominated the Tigers 63-0 in the Region 6-1A victory. more
McKENZIE (September 19) — McKenzie Lady Rebels Soccer celebrated Senior Night and a 4-0 victory over South Fulton at the MHS soccer field on Tuesday, September 19. more
REAGAN (September 15) — On Friday night, McKenzie High School Football Head Coach Wade Comer picked up his 200th win as a head coach. What is even more remarkable is that all the wins come from his tenure at McKenzie High School. more
REAGAN (September 15) — The McKenzie Rebels improved their record Friday night to 4-1 with the non-region road win at Scotts Hill. McKenzie handled Scotts Hill with ease as they picked up the 43-13 victory. more
HUNTINGDON (September 14) — The McKenzie Middle School Rebels traveled to Paul Ward Stadium Thursday night for a county matchup with the Huntingdon Middle School Mustangs. With a 20-0 shutout of the Rebels, Huntingdon remains undefeated at 5-0 for the season. more
