PARIS — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has received a new piece of equipment to help combat contraband and keep it from entering the jail. On January 31, 2024, HCSD received a body scanner that was located into the booking area of the jail.  more
McKENZIE (February 8) — On Thursday night, a workshop was held for the McKenzie City Council with the goal of better understanding the process and requirements to grant a retail liquor license. Following some confusion during the last meeting of the Alcohol Board, City Attorney Beau Pemberton recommended a workshop be held to help educate the Council. more
