2020 Beekeepers Short Course

The Northwest Tennessee Beekeepers Association is excited to present its annual Beekeepers Short Course for Intermediate and Beginning beekeepers, or anyone interested in honeybees. The Beekeepers Short Course is an exciting and informative way to be introduced to the amazing world of beekeeping.

This course will provide you with basic information on the benefits of honeybees to our society, from honey to health, and guidance for beginning an maintaining a colony of honeybees. You will also enjoy the fellowship of beekeepers of all ages. Lunch will be provided, and door prizes will be given.

The cost is $30 per person. The course is at the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawk Press Box (third floor) on Saturday, January 18. Follow the NWTBA signs to the parking lot in front of the stadium. The driveway is off University Street.

Registration is from 8:30-9 a.m.; the program is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
