Carroll County Active Living Workshop is July 25

Posted

Carroll County was selected to participate as a pilot program for an Active Living Workshop presented by Health by Design and the Tennessee Department of Health. The workshop is Monday, July 25 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., with lunch provided, at Bethel University’s Vera Low Center in Activities Room A and B.

This workshop provides Carroll County with the evidence-based tools needed to work toward creating a Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the county that could be utilized to secure grant funding. Competitive grants often require applicants to have this plan.

Participants are not required to attend all day but are asked to join the Carroll County Health Department however long they can.
