McKenzie, Tenn. - Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Jane Washburn are Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm and Wednesday 10 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Caledonia Cemetery and Brother Jim Roberts will officiate.
Mrs. Washburn, a retired nurse for Oak Manor Nursing Home, died Saturday, October 17, 2020 at West Tenn. Healthcare Volunteer Hospital Martin, Tenn. She was born on September 30, 1942 in Weakley County to the late J.C. and Opal Rumley McCain. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia Dawn Washburn.
She is survived by her daughter, Kechia (Jason) Baucum, son Timothy Craig (Joann) Washburn, six grandchildren, Magen Elaine Washburn (Tyler), Jonathan Craig Washburn ( Mookie), Christy Whitten (Colton), Brooke Baucum and Brandon Baucum and one great-grandson, Nathan Stanfill.
Her husband of fifty-nine years Billy Washburn died in an automobile accident with her.
