Bethel University Extends ACT/SAT Waiver for 2023

Posted
Bethel University is extending the waiver of standardized test requirements through the 2023 fall semester as a continued response to repercussions from the COVID-19 pandemic. This waiver is only applicable to traditional undergraduate programs through the College of Arts and Sciences. Students are required to submit official high school transcripts for admission.

“I am proud we will be waiving our standardized test requirements. Our incoming students can easily apply and request their transcript. Their acceptance will be finalized with their high school grade point average (GPA),” said Dr. Walter Butler, president of Bethel University.

Many prospective students have limited access to ACT/SAT testing centers. By waiving this requirement, Bethel University remains dedicated to providing equitable access to higher education for students around the world.

“Our decision ensures that potential students from all over the world have the opportunity to apply and be accepted to the College of Art and Sciences at Bethel,” said Tina Hodges, director of recruitment and admissions.

The recruitment and admissions office also invites prospective students to attend this year’s Fall Preview Day on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Attendees will tour the campus while participating in many Homecoming activities including the Cat Walk, Wildcat Alley and the Wildcat football game versus Thomas More College.
