Bethel, Eastside FCE January Meeting

Posted

The Family Community and Education (FCE) January meeting was held at the Carroll County Complex and there were nine members attending. The meeting was called to order by the president, Gail Eubanks, and the first order of business included a prayer and a suggestion to gather old devotional booklets and Sunday School literature to send to an organization that forwards them to third world countries. Those who wish to contribute may contact lovepackages.org for more information. Hours spent working on this project can be used toward CVU hours.

Roll call was answered by naming a traditional New Year’s meal? The minutes were read and approved and the treasury report remained the same. In old business Danita Laman showed the 12 blankets that were purchased and will be donated to the FCE charity. A workshop is planned after the council meeting Monday, January 16. New business topics included a reminder of the FCE County Council meeting on Monday, January 16, at 10 a.m., in the conference room of the Carroll County Complex. Members were invited to bring scissors for the workshop to be held after the meeting. Members should turn in reading lists and dues. Yearbooks will be delivered next month.
