McKENZIE, Tenn. - Beula Mattox Hardin, 83, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her residence. 

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Hardin is 1 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2020 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will have a gathering of friends Monday at 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hardin was born on August 16, 1936 in Etowah, Ark. to Robert Duvall and Nina Woolard Duvall. She retired from Methodist Hospital as supervisor of Environmental Services and was a fifty-year member of Woodmen of the World. She attended Bethel Baptist Church of McKenzie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Warren Welch, Sr., James F. Mattox and Joe Lee Hardin, a daughter, Sandra Mattox and two sisters, Evelyn Burges and Betty Kearns.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Mike) Hayes, two sons, Mike (Patsy) Mattox and Warren (Jeanne) Welch, a step-son Jim Mattox, two sisters, Roberta Whitehead and Ginny McLaren and three brothers, Joe Duvall, Robert Duvall, Jr and Paul Duvall, ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
