Mc Kenzie, TNFuneral and Masonic Services for Burnell “Barney” Beers were Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Burial is Monday, January 6, 2020 at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Beers, age 92, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Henry County Health Care Center, Paris, Tenn. He was born September 15, 1927 in Peck, Michigan to Leroy and Mary Ellen Lett Beers.
He is survived by a niece, Mary (Paul) Scott of Baxter, Tenn.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lossie Taylor Beers, five sisters, Helen, Kate, Clara and Isabelle and two brothers Jim and Earl.
