Carroll County Budget Committee to Meet
Carroll County Budget Committee meeting meets the third Thursday of every month starting at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex.
 
West Tennessee Sarcoidosis Support Group Walk-A-Thon
The West Tennessee Sarcoidosis Support Group Walk-A-Thon is Saturday, April 30 at R.B. Wilson Clinic, Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Registration is 7:30-8:30 a.m. The walk-a-thon is at 9 a.m. The cost is $20. Categories include: 5K run and a 1 mile walk (optional). Trophies are awarded for 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place for 5K run participants only. Medals are given for participation. All proceeds support The Vanderbilt Research Center for sarcoidosis. The West Tennessee Sarcoidosis Group thanks the R.B. Wilson Clinic, Baptist Memorial Hospital for allowing us to host this event. Senior Citizens to Hear Program on Essential Oils
Seniors 55 and older come and join us at McKenzie Senior Center, 172 S Main Street, McKenzie on Wednesday, April 20, 6 p.m. Donna Faullmer will present information about the benefits of essential oils and how they can be of use to relieve muscle and joint pain, reduce tension and anxiety, promote better sleep and many other ways to use oils to enhance your health and overall well being.
