Helicopter Easter Egg Drop
McKenzie Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, April 9, 10 to noon at McKenzie City Park. Eggs will be dropped from a helicopter. Approximately 20,000 eggs will be dropped. The event is free to attend. Kids, don’t forget your Easter baskets.

Carl Perkins Center to Host Event
Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is hosting a Light Up the Darkness Hippity Hop Be Bop at the Carroll County Civic Center, 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.
The Glow Run 5K and Fun Run with registration at 7 and run at 7:30. Awards were for top places in each age group.
A cornhole tournament is $40 per team.
The event includes a bake sale, food by Poot’s BBQ, Mark Milan, Hill’s Take and Bake. For more information, call 731-986-5920.

Senior 55 and older Night Bingo is Thursday, April 7, 6 p.m. at the McKenzie Senior Center, 172 S Main McKenzie. Everyone this age invited.
On April 8, 6 p.m., H&R Block Tax Service will be at McKenzie Senior Center to inform people of new tax breaks and especially new tax breaks for seniors. This is open to public.
