West Carroll High School to Host Wrestling Fundraiser
The West Carroll High School Football program is hosting a Memphis Wrestling Fundraiser at the high school, 760 Hwy 77 in Atwood, Tenn., on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission or $15 for ringside. Tickets can be purchased at the door, through Head Coach Clayton Morris, or a West Carroll football player. For more information, contact West Carroll High School 731-662-7116.

Cakewalk, Dinner, Cake Auction at McKenzie Senior Center
Saturday, May 13, Dinner at 5 p.m. Cost is $5 and includes 3 tacos, beans, and iced tea.
The cake auction is at 5:45 p.m. and cake walk at 6 p.m., the cost is $5.
Music is provided by Steve Bomar and friends. The auctioneer is David Bates.

Carroll County E911 Budget Committee to Meet
The Carroll County E911 Budget Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at 200 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon (training room at the sheriff’s office).

McKenzie Chamber, Industry Banquet June 20
The McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry Banquet is Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Venue at Waddell Place at 894 Joy Sparks Road in McKenzie, Tenn. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members, $60 for Non-Members and $250 for a table of 8 seats. During the event, awards will be presented to members for the Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year. Members are encouraged to attend. The keynote speaker will be Kyle Spurgeon, President and CEO of the Jackson, Tenn. Chamber. Macedonia Fire Department Fish Plates
Macedonia Fire Department, District 10, is hosting a fish plate dinner, Saturday, May 13, 3 to 6 p.m. Plates are $12 and includes fish, beans, fries, slaw, drink and dessert. The dinner is at 4680 Highway 423, McKenzie.

NWTN Directors to Meet
The Board of Directors of Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council meets Friday, May 19, 10 a.m. at the McKenzie Central Office, 938 Walnut Avenue, West, McKenzie. The meeting is also available virtually by Zoom.

An 80s Pop Icon comes to McKenzie! TIFFANY brings her “Shadows US Tour” to Park Theatre. A legendary pop star, TIFFANY earned two U.S. number one hit singles with “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been.” She set a record as the youngest female artist to top the Billboard charts with her debut album. Break out that classic 80s fashion and let’s celebrate all things 80s with TIFFANY! The event is Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 (balcony) and $38.

Greenfield FBC to Host School’s Out Party
Greenfield First Baptist Church is hosting a School’s Out for Summer Block Party on Saturday, May 20, 4 to 7 p.m. There will be fun and fellowship for all ages with free food, games, jumpers, door prizes and music. Everyone is invited to join in the fun. The church is located at 3127 Meridian Street, Greenfield.

Liberty All Homecoming
The annual First Sunday in May Homecoming at Liberty All United Methodist Church, 2415 Old Stage Road, Huntingdon is Sunday, May 7. Morning worship is 10:30 a.m. led by church pastor Jennifer Sauer. Singing by The Gospel Edition and David Gaskins will follow. Lunch will be enjoyed together after the singing. Everyone is welcome.

Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen
The Shepherd’s Table community kitchen serves meals the third Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 East Main Street, Huntingdon. Meals are served restaurant style with drive-through available after 6 p.m. It is open to the public and there is no cost. Donations are accepted. All are invited. It is our mission to create a community atmosphere where individuals can come in and have a meal in a comfortable setting. We encourage friendly conversation, prayers and laughter. The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Carroll County Republican Party Meets
The Carroll County Republican Party meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the court room of the Public Safety building, 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

Smalltown Cruisers Antique Car Club Meets Monthly

Take Off Pounds Sensibly

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.
