Carroll County Budget Committee to Meet
Carroll County Budget Committee meeting meets the third Thursday of every month starting at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex.

McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.

First CP Vacation Bible School
On Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8, McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is having Vacation Bible School, “Monumental - Celebrating God’s Greatness” - for children ages 3 to those who have just finished 5th grade. Hours are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Supper will be provided. Come celebrate Christian fellowship, fun and the joy of God’s Word!

McKenzie Farmers Market
McKenzie Farmers Market is on Saturdays at 8 a.m., 2431 Cedar Street, in downtown McKenzie. The former Studebaker dealership was converted to an indoor/outdoor farmers market and allows area citizens to sell their homemade and homegrown foods and other products.
It is open every Saturday morning through October. Also visit on Tuesday afternoons, 2-6 p.m. Watch for special children’s activities sponsored by the Carroll County 4-H and Agriculture Extension Service.
Admission is free. The facility is sponsored by the City of McKenzie. For vendor information, phone City Hall at 731-352-2292.

Greenfield First Baptist Vacation Bible School
Greenfield First Baptist Church Community-Wide VBS Block Party is Saturday, June 25, 5 p.m. to 7:30p.m.There will be free food, jumpers, games, face painting, grand prizes, and more for all ages! The church is located at 3127 N. Meridian Street in Greenfield.
Greenfield First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School is Sunday, June 26 – Wednesday, June 29, 6 to 8:30 each night. There will be bible lessons, music, games, crafts, missions, and food for all ages as well as an Adult Bible Study! Annual Par Three Golf Tournament
The MHS Rebel Golf Team’s Annual Par Three Golf Tournament is Saturday, June 18 at 4 p.m. at the Carroll Lake Golf Course. Admission is $105 per team, $35 per person. Registration begins at 3 p.m. There will be prizes, food, and fun.

Carroll County Humane Society is selling Georgia Peaches
The Carroll County Humane Society is taking orders for fresh Georgia peaches until June 20. Orders will arrive early July. A 11-13 box is $30 to be paid at the time of the order. Call 731-352-9950 and leave a message.

McKenzie Re-Birth Committee Event
The McKenzie Community Rebirth Committee is hold an event in downtown McKenzie on June 24 and 25.
On Friday, June 24, 4 to 8 p.m., there will be karaoke, open mic, and a scavenger hunt. On Saturday, June 25, noon to 4 p.m., is music and games through the downtown square. Food trucks will be on location.

Huntingdon Board of Education to Meet
The Huntingdon Board of Education meets Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 6 p.m. The meeting is at the Huntingdon Central Office located at 585 High St., Huntingdon.

Carroll County Emergency Communications Board of Directors to Meet
The Carroll County Emergency Communications Board of Directors meets in a regular session on Tuesday, June 21, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is in the training room at the Sheriff’s Office, 200 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon.
