MHS Basketball Golf Scramble Fundraiser
The McKenzie High School Basketball teams host a four-man golf scramble fundraiser Saturday, August 24 at Carroll Lake Golf Club at 8 a.m. Entry is $200 per team. The Carroll County Fair is August 7-10 at the Carroll County Civic Center.

Senior Citizen Day at the Fair
August 8, Senior Day at the Carroll County Fair 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center. Come out and have some fun. Vendors welcomed. Contact Carroll County Office on Aging at 731-986-1985.
Revival at Enon Missionary Baptist Church
Come join us, at Enon Missionary Baptist Church, for a week of blessings during our revival services, Sunday, August 11 through Wednesday, August 14. Bro. Michael Norton, Pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin is the evangelist for the week. The address is 13025 Highway 79 S, McKenzie. Sunday services are as follows: 10 a.m. Sunday School, 11 a.m. Worship Hour, and 5 p.m. Worship Hour. The Worship Hour services for Monday through Wednesday begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.
Miss Tatertown is August 17
The annual Miss Tatertown pageants are August 17 at Gleason School. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the first pageant is at 10 a.m. Pageants will start no earlier than every 30 minutes. Lunch break is 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Baby show ages 0-11 months; one year olds, two year olds, three year olds, 4-5 year olds, Little Mr. and Miss 6-9 year olds for boys and girls up to age 9. Pre-Teen is 10-12 year old; Jr. Miss Tater Town 13-15 years old; Miss Tater Town 16-21 years old. Please be dressed 15 minutes prior to the contest.

Dog Vouchers
We are currently selling spay/neuter vouchers for dogs. The cost is $50 and surgeries will be done at the Huntingdon Animal Clinic. Must be 6 months or older at time of the appointment. No residency or income requirements. Vouchers must be purchased in person at the shelter during business hours Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. We are running low on spay vouchers so hurry if you want one. We have several more neuter vouchers. Cash or card only.

McKenzie Riders Chapter X Annual Celebration
The McKenzie Riders Chapter X hosts a first-year annual celebration at Tom’s Steakhouse in Paris Saturday, August 17 at 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome; door prizes will be given.
McKenzie Memorial Library’s Hours
The McKenzie Memorial Library, Broadway Street, is open, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays throughout the summer for the Summer Reading Program. Additionally, the library has programs on most Saturdays beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Carroll Democratic Party Meets
The Carroll County Democratic Party meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.
McKenzie TOPS to Meet
The McKenzie TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets on Mondays at 3 p.m. at the McKenzie Church of Christ gym. Anyone interested in losing weight can join. For more information, contact Linda Lawrence at 731-352-7309. If no answer, leave a message.
Carroll Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in February and July.
Carroll Republican Party Meets
Carroll County Republican Party meets monthly each fourth Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Building in Huntingdon.
Adult Education Classes
Huntingdon Location — Adult Education Building, 14155 Paris Street. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classes are offered for one-on-one instruction on Mondays, 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to NOON. For more information, phone 731-364-5481.
