The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 2021 Adult Leadership Carroll County class. Leadership Carroll County (LCC) consists of nine sessions and a community service project.

“Class members will find the sessions to be informative, educational and fun,” said Natalie McCullough Porter, Chair of the LCC program. “The goal of the Leadership Carroll County Program is to provide our participants with information about the life and work of Carroll County and to identify the issues, challenges, and opportunities that our county will face in the coming years.”

The sessions include information on Health Care, Government Operations, Education, County Demographic, Economic Development, Agriculture, Professional Development and more.

Sessions are August 26, September 2, September 9, September 23, September 30, October 7, October 21, October 28 and November 4. All sessions are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will serve at the Carroll County Fair following the September 23 session, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Chamber of Commerce has operated leadership programs since 1990. More than 765 individuals have completed both Adult and Youth Leadership programs. The Leadership sessions are an excellent opportunity to network with class members and presenters.

The deadline for application is August 18, 2021. The tuition for participating in the program is $275 and includes all program costs and meals associated with sessions. Tuition is payable upon confirmation of acceptance into the program.
