According to the report by Deputy Dennis Adkins, deputies went to 4405 Highway 424 to assist U.S. Marshals in serving an arrest warrant on Keith Milton Patterson, 28, of 90 Morris Creek Loop Road, who was believed to be at that residence. Residents inside the home refused to let marshals come in to search for Patterson. After about an hour of negotiations, marshals were about to seek a search warrant when an altercation between family members broke out inside the home.
