Stolen Vehicle — A stolen vehicle was found at a Bruceton residence on October 25.
According to the report by Deputy Scotty Davis, he and officers with the U.S. Marshalls Service went to 430 Batey Lane looking for a wanted person. No one was home at the residence, but officers did find a white Buick Regal in the driveway. A computer check showed that the vehicle had been stolen out of Gibson County. Authorities in that county were notified, and the car was towed to a secure location. As the car was locked, officers were unable to search its contents. The matter is still under investigation.
Public Intoxication — Sammie Michael Lusk Jr., 23, of 645 Enon Church Road, McKenzie, was charged with public intoxication during an October 26 incident.
According to the report by Deputy Michael Taylor, he responded to a call about a vehicle stopped in the roadway at the intersection of Shady Grove Road and Old Christmasville Road. Upon arrival, the deputy found Lusk passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle with the engine off. Taylor reported that Lusk smelled of alcohol, and a beer bottle was found at his feet in the floorboard.
Trespassing — Frederick Horton Crawley, 39, of 332 Peggy Lane, Atwood, was charged with criminal trespassing following an October 26 incident at a Trezevant business.

According to the report by Deputy Michael Taylor, he responded to a call from T-Mart that Crawley, who had been previously banned from the store, was at the store causing a disturbance. A store employee told Taylor that Crawley became angry, started cursing, and moved toward her in a threatening way when she would not let him charge the purchase of alcoholic beverages on his account, saying that he already owed the store $15.
Upon arrival, Taylor found Crawley sitting on a bucket outside the store. Crawley was transported to the Carroll County Jail and instructed not to return to T-Mart.
Resisting — Tony Eugene Travis, 52, of 151 Highland Street, Bruceton, was arrested for resisting stop/frisk/halt/arrest and for an active warrant on October 28 at his home.
According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, he and other deputies went to Travis’ residence to serve a warrant against him.
After seeing Travis look out from a window, deputies entered the residence and found Travis in the upstairs attic loft hiding under a pillow. Travis refused to place his hands behind his back to be handcuffed after being instructed numerous times by Walker to do so. Walker tased Travis and then placed him under arrest.
