Posted

Theft — Thomas Joiner of Hollow Rock told deputies on November 15 the license plate on his vehicle has been stolen.
Joiner said the last time he saw the plate was at around 10 a.m. on November 14 and that he had only driven to work in Camden and back home since that time.
DUI — Samuel Joseph Donato, 21, of Franklin was charged with DUI (first offense) during a November 19 traffic stop in Atwood.

According to the report by Deputy Steven Scott, he observed a vehicle driven by Donato traveling at a high rate of speed on Main Street.
Scott followed the vehicle, which turned off on a side road without using a turn signal.
Scott pulled the vehicle over, and while speaking with Donato, Scott detected the odor of alcohol. Donato said he had consumed a six-pack, and he performed poorly on field sobriety tests administered by the deputy.
