Disorderly Conduct — Nicholas Jerome Simmons, 39, of 200 Thorne Lane, Huntingdon, was charged with disorderly conduct following a July 31 incident at his residence.
According to the report by Deputy Michael Taylor, he went to 200 Thorne Lane after Simmons’ mother called saying that her son “was unruly and saying he was the devil’s son and scaring her.” Upon arrival, Taylor found Simmons was being physically restrained by a male family member in the carport. Simmons was arrested and transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County to await mental evaluation, but he was then transported to the Carroll County Jail after becoming agitated and violent at the hospital.
License Violation — Jordan Goodman, 24, of 670 Grooms Road, Huntingdon, was cited for driving on a revoked license (second offense) during an August 1 traffic stop in Bruceton.
Deputy Steven Scott reported he pulled over a vehicle driven by Goodman on Broad Street due to a taillight violation. A computer check showed Goodman’s license was revoked for a prior DUI conviction.

Multiple Charges — Amanda Michelle Lewis-Johnson, 44, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was charged with felony evading arrest, felony reckless endangerment, and driving on a suspended license (sixth offense) following a high-speed pursuit on August 4 in Carroll County.
According to the report by Deputy Tommy Decanter, six officers were involved in a vehicular pursuit of a 2020 Ford Explorer driven by Lewis-Johnson after she failed to stop for an attempted traffic stop on Highway 22 in McKenzie. As Decanter detailed, Lewis-Johnson weaved in an out of traffic at high rates of speed before finally coming to a stop on Lexington Street in Huntingdon. A computer check revealed her license was suspended in the state of Florida.
Simple Assault — Cydnie Jewel Loyd, 21, of 605 Brier Creek Road, Huntingdon, was charged with simple assault following an August 5 incident at her residence.
According to the report by Deputy Steven Scott, he responded to Lloyd’s residence after receiving a call about a domestic incident. Scott spoke with Abigail Smith, who said that her brother’s girlfriend (Loyd) had assaulted her. Smith said that Loyd pushed her, punched her on the side of the head and arm, and threatened to harm her and her unborn child.
