Drug Possession — Chas Elliot Robinson, 32, of Roland Mill Road, Bruceton, was charged with possession of a schedule II drug with intent during a Nov. 9 traffic stop in Bruceton.
According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, another deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by Robinson on Roland Mill Road, and Walker came to the scene to provide backup. Robinson was asked to step out of the vehicle, and Walker conducted a pat-down of his clothing. Walker detected something in Robinson’s left front pocket, and when Robinson emptied his pocket, he pulled out a round container containing two separate baggies of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
DUI — Sierra Faith Eagle, 20, of Bumpus Mills was charged with DUI (first offense) on Nov. 8 in McKenzie.
According to the report by Deputy Steven Scott, he found Eagle asleep at the wheel of a vehicle at the stop sign at Old McKenzie Highway and Highway 22. After Scott managed to wake Eagle, she said that she did not know where she was, she was trying to get home, and her phone died. Scott observed a rolled-up $1 bill with some kind of residue on it, and when Scott asked if she had been drinking or using drugs, Eagle initially said that she had not, but then admitted to snorting a Xanax pill. Eagle performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
Disorderly Conduct — James Dewayne Rogers, 23, of 195 Rogers Lane, Bruceton, was arrested for disorderly conduct during a Nov. 8 incident in Bruceton.
According to the report by Deputy Michael Taylor, he responded to a 911 call from Cheatham Street about Rogers chasing and assaulting people and running wild in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, Taylor found a crowd gathered around as two Bruceton firefighters were holding Rogers down on the ground. Taylor appeared to be under the influence of some kind of drug or alcohol. Officers took Taylor into custody and transported him to the Carroll County Jail, where he had to be placed in a restraint chair upon arrival.
