Debit Card Fraud — Deputies are looking into a recent report of debit card fraud.
Holly Miller told deputies on Jan. 20 that several unauthorized charges had been made on her debit card totaling $133. She said she spoke with her bank and they told her the charges were made through a cash app by a Dresden man, who Miller said she had gone out with on a date.
Protection Order Violation — A warrant was recently issued against Robert Harris, 52, of Bruceton for violation of an order of protection.
According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, he responded on Jan. 23 to a residence on Mt. Pleasant Church Road after receiving a call that Harris was standing in the front yard yelling at his ex-girlfriend, Holly Sanders. Harris had left the property before the deputy arrived, but Sanders confirmed that Harris had been on the property. Walker noted that Harris had previously been served with a court order to stay away from Sanders and had failed to show up for his court date.

Assault — As of the time of the report, deputies were looking for Kenneth Ray Beckham, 34, of 1450 Dollar Hill Road, Huntingdon, for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
According to the report by Deputy Chance Townes, he responded to a residence on Clay Farm Road on Jan. 25 after receiving a call about a domestic assault. Townes spoke with Deanna Holiday, who said that Beckham, her boyfriend, had punched her in the face at their residence and had kept her from leaving for nearly an hour to prevent her from contacting the police. She said she finally did manage to leave, went to the home of relatives, and called the Sheriff’s Department. Townes noted that Holiday had a busted lip and blood on her shirt. When deputies went to 1450 Dollar Hill Road, Beckham was not there, and they had not yet made contact with him at the time of the report.
Vandalism — Deputies are investigating recent vandalism and a possible break-in on private property in Lavinia.
Kelly Scott of Lavinia told deputies on Jan. 25 that he went to a house that he owns on Spring Creek Road at around 5:15 p.m. that day and found that the garage door had been kicked in and the lock had been broken on the back door of the house. Scott said he had been there earlier that day and everything had been fine. Damage was estimated at $300 altogether.
