McKenzie, Tennessee - Services for Charles Clinton Hinson, 66, are Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery near McKenzie.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 4 - 7 p.m. and Thursday, May 25, 2023, 11 a.m. until service time.  

Mr. Hinson, a retired employee of Premier Manufacturing in Henderson, Tenn., died Monday, May 22, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  

He was born on October 14, 1956, in Hohenwald, Tennessee to J.C. and Linda Akin Hinson Carter. He loved to ride motorcycles and go fishing with his daughters, he was a five-and-one-half-year cancer survivor of three different types of cancers and also served in the U.S. Army and the Tennessee National Guard, being discharged as an E-4.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Ray Hinson. 

Survivors include his four daughters, Shannon Makowski and husband of Sugar Tree, Tenn., April Williams and husband of Trezevant, Tenn., Latosha and Samantha Hinson, both of McKenzie, five sisters, Melinda Reeves, Lisa Barber, Shelia Carter, Bettye Hinson, and Brittany Hinson, two brothers, Jasper Hinson and John Hinson, four granddaughters, Cailey Lanciloti, Brooklyn Thomas, Elizabeth Hart, stepfather, Joe Carter, and his granddaughter - due in November, a grandson, Dylan Schaefer, several nieces and nephews.
