HUNTINGDON  - Mr. Charles Edward Lutz, Jr., 80, of Huntingdon, Tenn. died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother Jacob Harris and Brother Henry Simpson are officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday, September 24, 2021, 10 a.m. until the start of services at 1 p.m.

Mr. Lutz was born on August 18, 1941 in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles Edward Lutz, Sr. and Betty Sanders Lutz. He was the owner of S&L Crate Company, a member of Huntingdon First Baptist Church -Huntingdon and a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda McMillan.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Bess (Lynn) Toombs of McKenzie, Tenn.; one son, Chris Lutz of Huntingdon, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Madyson Driggers, Kyle Lutz, Lydia Lutz, and Luke Toombs.
