HUNTINGDON — The Dixie Performing Arts and Academic Enrichment Center presents its highly anticipated annual Christmas show, “A Christmas On Broadway” on Saturday, December 15 at 7 p.m. to a sold-out audience.
“Christmas on Broadway” promises a most entertaining evening full of Broadway hits and Christmas favorites performed by a cast of local talent and favorites with this year’s holiday event featuring special guest, Paula Bridges.
Paula Bridges McGill grew up in Camden and began singing at the age of nine and knew, quickly, that it was her passion in life. Her love of music was instilled by her grandfather who would take her, and his guitar, all over this area to sing at schools, nursing homes, and different churches.
Paula continued her singing career in the band Paula and Arrow. After singing with this band she developed The Paula Bridges Band which she performed with for over 35 years. In this band she met her late husband, Chuck McGill, and father of her two daughters, Katie and Emily McGill.
