Carroll County Fair is This Week

HUNTINGDON — Carroll County Fair returns this year in a modified fashion. The pay-one-price admission allows attendance to the events at the Carroll County Fairgrounds, located at the Carroll County Civic Center.

There are no beauty pageants this year.

Monday, September 20 is the Junior Livestock Show. Judging begins at 6 p.m. There is no circus or carnival on Monday. Admission is free and there no fair food booths.

Tuesday and Wednesday features the carnival and circus, petting zoo and monster truck rides. Gates open at 5 p.m. The admission price is $10.

Thursday is the carnival and circus, petting zoo, and Rand Rutherford - a singer, songwriter. Gates open 5 p.m. Admission is $5.

Friday is $15 for the carnival, circus, petting zoo and Double Edge band. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Saturday features a dog show at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $5. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.

The events conclude Saturday, September 26 during the evening with the carnival, circus, and USA Pullers Tractor Pull. Admission is $15.

There are no senior citizen events this year.

Exhibit building hours are Tuesday, 5 to 10 p.m.; Wednesday, noon to 1 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m.; Friday, 5 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
