COVID-19 Increase Continues in State, Weakley County Sees Spike

NASHVILLE (June 22) — According to the Tennessee Department of Health, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee stands at 35,553, with 23,567 of those recovered and 531 died in the year 2020.
As of Monday, there are 35,553 (up from 31,160 last Monday) positive cases and a total of 531 (up from 483 deaths last week). The numbers represent the total number of positive cases during the 2020 pandemic.
In Carroll County, there has been one death, 31 recovered and 36 (unchanged from last Monday) positive cases. A total of 1,769 (1,695 last Monday) were diagnosed as negative.

In Henry County, 33 have recovered of 36 (35 last Monday) positive cases and 2,240 tested negative.
In Weakley County, 31 have recovered of 43 (up from 30 last Monday) positive cases and 1,879 tested negative.
In the United States, as of Monday, a total of 2,275,645 (2,085,769 last Monday) positive cases were reported in 2020 with 119,923 (115,644 last Monday) deaths, according to Centers for Disease Control.
