Delaine Robertson Receives Denman Evangelism Award

Delaine Robertson of Huntingdon, member of Blooming Grove United Methodist Church of McKenzie, received the Harry Denman Evangelism Award for Laity at the Memphis Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tenn. on June 4. She was nominated for this award by Cecil Brown for the many hats she wears at Blooming Grove. She is the youth leader, a lay speaker, gives the children’s message each Sunday morning, coordinates most events at the church including the Christmas program and Vacation Bible School, and many other activities involving the youth.
She was awarded this honor throughout the entire Memphis Conference.
