GLEASON — Denise Ann Sawyers Eason, 63, died Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born to June and George Thomas Sawyers on January 1, 1956. She was raised in Gleason, Tenn. 
With her caring nature, she became a licensed practical n and worked in the profession for 40 years.   
She worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and as a home health/hospice nurse. She truly cared for those she served. 
Denise was married to Kenneth Eason in 1978. They had two children, Christopher and Brenton. Kenneth preceded her in death on December 24, 1997.   
Denise moved to DeFuniak  Springs, Florida, in 2016 after the birth of her granddaughter, Ellie Raye. Her love and devotion to her sons and granddaughter were the driving force in her life.   
Those who knew her will remember her for her kindness, her generosity, and especially her sense of humor. 
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, June and George Thomas “Tommy” Sawyers, her husband Ken, and both her brothers, Bill and Tom Sawyers.
Denise is survived by her sons, Christopher and Brenton, her daughter-in-law, Shandin, and her granddaughter, Ellie Raye. 
A memorial service for Denise will be held in Gleason at a later date.
