The Dixie Announces Its 2021-22 Performance Season

In the spirit of a true Sweet Sixteen celebration, The Dixie has crafted the 2021-2022 Performance Series lineup. With acts from Texas Songwriter Hall of Fame member Robert Earl Keen, to two-time B.B. King Entertainer of the Year winner, Tab Benoit, to Forever Motown performing the hits of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and more.

The Dixie has more than just music; Henry Cho will bring his signature stand-up comedy act, and later next year, The Dixie will premiere its Designing Women Market - a carefully curated showcase featuring some of West Tennessee’s most talented female designers. With purchase options from pottery and paintings to floral arrangements and vintage flair, there will be something for everyone.

The Dixie Sweet Sixteen’s first five performances include Robert Earl Keen September 11 at 7:30 p.m.; Dailey & Vincent October 2 at 2 p.m.; Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives Saturday at 2 p.m.; Forever Motown December 4 at 7:30 p.m.; or Henry Cho January 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The next five performances’ public onsale ticket drop is Tuesday, November 16. See Triumphant Quartet January 29 at 2 p.m.; An Evening With Sister Hazel February 5 at 7:30 p.m.; Tab Benoit February 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Brian Owens and Soul Tour March 5 at 2 p.m.; or Hotel California May 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Sprinkled throughout the season are Main Street Christmas December 11, Designing Women Market March 18-19, Red Riding Hood April 9 and more.

In addition to the Performance Series, the stage will continue to host the ever-popular Education Series and The Missoula Children’s Theatre. And what’s a good Sweet Sixteen without a few surprises? Be sure to keep an eye on social media and The Dixie website for additional pop-up events sprinkled throughout the season.

Season tickets are available beginning Monday, August 9, at 10 a.m. and include access to the entire Performance Series lineup at a sixteen percent package discount. Season tickets are only available in-person at the box office or by phone, 731-986-2100.

Tickets to the first five performances will be released to the general public Monday, August 16, at 10 a.m. in-person and online at DixiePAC.net.
