McKENZIE - Graveside services for Donald Lee Trull, 66, were Friday, November 20, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. Brother Alan Trull officiated the service.

Mr. Trull was born February 27, 1954 in McKenzie to the late James and Martha Trull. He was a foreman at the age of 20 at Kentucky-Tennessee Clay (KT Clay) in Gleason. At the age of 25, he was the plant superintendent of KT Clay for 14 years. He took early voluntary retirement at age 39 to pursue is other businesses. 

Mr. Trull owned and operated D&S (Donald and Sue) Laundromat in four locations - McKenzie, Gleason, Dresden and Trezevant. He owned and operated D&S Storage Buildings with two locations in McKenzie. He owned nine apartments and built and sold 15 "spec" houses in McKenzie. He was also involved in the stock market. He was a successful businessman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Trull.

He is survived by one child, his daughter Tammy Trull, two grandchildren, Craig Ross and Analeese Arnold of Greenfield, Tenn. He is also survived by one brother, Ray Trull of McKenzie, one niece, Angie Trull Hopper and her husband, Marty, of  McKenzie, one great niece, Kayla (Hopper) Gateley and husband, Joel Gateley of Cedar Grove, a great nephew, Kyle Hopper of Nashville, a nephew, Stan Trull (Janet Trull) of Greenfield, and a nephew, Nicholas Trull of Nashville.
