McKENZIE (November 10) — The Bethel University Athletic Department was honored Tuesday when the Duncan family donated a cherished and priceless sweater worn by the late Russell Duncan, who was a member of the Bethel MVC Championship football teams of 1932, 1933 and 1934. Mr. Duncan was a native of Martin, Tennessee. Pictured is his son, David, who presented the sweater, which can be viewed in a trophy case on the east wing of the Crisp Center on the Bethel campus. Athletic Director Dale Kelley stated, “We are honored the Duncan family shared this precious item with us. It represents a great era of success and gives our fans a chance to remember and honor those great football squads and players like Mr. Duncan.”
