Mc Kenzie, TNTREZEVANT, Tenn. - Funeral services for Dwayne Bateman are 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at First Baptist Church Trezevant.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 5 p.m. To 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until service time. All visitation is at First Baptist Church. Brother Malcolm Norton is the officiant and internment is at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Bateman, 76 years old, died, Friday, August 23, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born November 9, 1942 in Jackson to L.H. and Arnelle Tate Bateman. He was a barber at Bateman Barber Shop and a member of First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Ruby Nell Fuller.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Arthur) Kapeller of Trezevant and Tina (Jimmy) Kelly of Trezevant, sister, Martha Hopper of Nashville, three brothers, Lloyd (Hope) Bateman of Trezevant, Clyde Bateman of McKenzie and Gordon Bateman of Trezevant, four grandchildren, Kyle (Alexia) Kapeller, Tyler (Kristina) Kapeller, Ryan (Ellie) Latch and Elizabeth (Cody Culp) Latch, three great-grandchildren Scarlett, Cooper and Brantley and a special friend, Johnnie Ingram of Trezevant.
