E911 Dispatchers Honored at Meeting

The E911 board met in a brief meeting with a short agenda. After approving the minutes from last month’s meeting along with the financial report, bids were opened for lawn care for two lots owned by the 911 district. Bell’s Lawn Service from Atwood and H&S Lawn Care from Huntingdon. The board chose to retain Bell’s Lawn Service to mow the two lots during the mowing season this year for $230 per month.
911 director Kristy Meggs told the board that this week was National Telecommunicators Week honoring 911 dispatchers. First responders from various groups including Baptist Hospital EMS, Carroll County Rescue Squad, Tennessee Highway Patrol, McKenzie Fire Department, and Carroll County Fire Department were in attendance. to honor the 911 dispatchers. Several responders praised and thanked the dispatchers for all of their hard work. They were all introduced and given gifts.
Carroll County’s E911 dispatchers include Lt. Jamie Summers, Brian Coville, Renne Morgan, Carissa French, Kristie Bradford, Kenny Jackson, Pam Moss, Melissa Townsend, Chance Townes, Ashleigh Todd Robbert Tuten, Melodie Marr, Amanda Tucker, Christi Moore, Jennifer Chester, and Kristy Meggs.
