HUNTINGDON — Mrs. Evelyn Irene Pearson, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Friday, May 1, 2020 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services were Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Obion Chapel Cemetery, with Bro Michael Ridgely officiating the services.
Mrs. Pearson was born March 15, 1930 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late George W. Hardin and Nova Ethel (Daughetee) Hardin. She retired from the General Motors Company, after twenty-five years of service and also worked some with the Carroll Leader and McKenzie Banner. She was a member of the Carter’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Pearson, three sisters, Nora Lucille Cathcart, Betty Sue Snellings and Mary Jeffries and one brother, George Hardin.
She is survived by one daughter, Toni Marie Goodrich of Huntingdon, two sons, Gary Hugh Davis of Loudon, Tenn., Edward James Davis of Dunlap, Tenn., two sisters, Jean Louise Robison of Houston, Texas and one brother, James Hardin of Sardis, Mississippi. She also leaves six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She leaves her caregiver, Mrs. Virginia House. +
