Mc Kenzie, TNEwell E. Townes, age 60, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Carroll County.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the funeral home 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services are Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Townes was born in McKenzie on June 3, 1960 to U.L. and Marsha Fuqua Townes. He is a member of Enon Baptist Church and was a foreman at Tosh Farms.
He is survived by his mother, Marsha Townes of McKenzie, a daughter, Natshia Haynes of Jackson and Cameron Clark of Ala., two sisters Anita Newbill and Carol Townes both of McKenzie, two brothers Jessie (Cheryl) Townes and Jimmy Townes, all of McKenzie, his fiancé, Kimberly Lowe, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and one brother Carl Townes.
